A true highlight of this program awaits our students in class. Our German courses are held at the Bertha von Suttner Gymnasium, which is not a typical school, but is absolutely unique in Europe. It is a 189-meter long ship with a total of 36 classrooms. The fantastic location right at Danube Island and the unparalleled experience of having German lessons aboard a ship contribute to an unforgettable language course.

Accommodation

Our students live in the Guest House Wien-Brigittenau, Vienna’s most modern youth hostel. It is ideally located between Danube Island and downtown Vienna, which gives our students a blend of the atmosphere of the big city with the advantages of a quiet and safe residential area. The classrooms on the Bertha von Suttner school ship are within walking distance. The city center with its many historic and cultural sights can easily be reached during free time. The nearby Danube Island is an oasis of tranquility and is ideal for relaxation, sports and manifold leisure activities. The bright and modern twin rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, as well as air conditioning. Our students receive three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
