Our London summer school is located in Twickenham, close to the river Thames in the safe, smart and highly desirable borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. Famously the home of world rugby and birthplace of the Rolling Stones, Twickenham is just 20 minutes from the heart of the city. LAL’s extremely popular summer school is situated at St Mary’s University. The university campus boasts extensive outdoor sports facilities and a recently built indoor sports centre, indoor tennis courts, a student hall and theatre.

Our summer school (Summer Camp 2019) is in the historic town of Cheltenham a holiday destination for kings and queens of England for over 200 years. Cheltenham is a perfect location for young learners. It is away from the crowds and traffic of big cities, but it is close to shops, pharmacies and other public services.Cheltenham is on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is close to popular destinations including: Oxford (Britain’s oldest university town), Stratford-Upon-Avon (the town where Shakespeare lived and worked), Bath (often called England’s most beautiful city), Stonehenge (the world-famous prehistoric monument) and Warwick and Warwick Castle (a medieval castle and theme park that has been called Britain’s best castle).

The Burlington School of English runs 4 exciting young learner programmes throughout the year, for students aged between 4 – 6 years old (Kids), 7 - 14 years old (Juniors), 14 - 17 year old (Teens), in London. Our Summer Programme is designed around innovative and exciting themes that will help you learn and explore more about British Culture: London – Our City, Kings and Queens, Science and Wonder Harry Potter (Wonder and Magic), Music, Theatre and Movies, Green living, British History.

London Westminster Summer School is located in the centre of London, just a stone’s throw from Victoria Station, Westminster Abbey and the world-famous Big Ben. Known the world over, London’s city centre is a vibrant destination for urban-loving teenagers to spend a busy summer! LAL’s trendiest summer school takes place at the University of Westminster, with a campus boasting modern facilities and a welcoming, cosy residence. This is the Central London Experience!

A simple stroll through this bustling city will energize and inspire you to continue learning English. A school in Ealing is located in a residential area in the west of the British capital. Ealing is known as a green oasis due to the area's many green parks - offering respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, both the city center and Heathrow Airport are reachable within 25 minutes.

Our centre is ideally located, right in the heart of vibrant and trendy Hoxton, Shoreditch, the perfect location from which to discover all the different activities the city has to offer. With well-thought-out study facilities and modern, bright, well-equipped classrooms, the centre boasts a sizeable courtyard with plenty of room to relax, plus other outdoor and indoor social areas.

The residence offers single en-suite accommodation set in a quiet secure courtyard manned with 24 hour security and you could easily forget you are based in the heart of London. The classrooms, social areas, coffee shop and dining room are located directly opposite the hall of residence. This programme focuses on London and all that it has to offer. Many of the places to be visited are walkable.

The Borough of Croydon is located to the south of London, only minutes by train from Central London. The town itself is centred around the Queens Gardens and the High Street, the surrounding areas are full of Victorian architecture. A great example of the architecture is the well-known Croydon Clock Tower Arts Centre, home to the Museum of Croydon, David Lean Cinema and public library.

Our English language programme in London is based at a college in the trendy Shoreditch area.
